How do I stop a manicure?

You can stop your manicure by pushing the Paint (center) button on your Nimble Device for five seconds until you feel the hand assistant come up / release. If you stop your manicure, you will have to start over from the beginning.   Check out our vid

Can I stop and resume my manicure?

Once you have stopped your manicure, you must start your manicure from the beginning. Nimble does not currently allow for manicures to be paused.

What is calibration?

After inserting your capsules into the Nimble device, Nimble calibrates your capsules. This is done only once during the manicure process. The Nimble Device does this to ensure the capsules are valid and ready to be used.

What is scanning?

During the Scanning process, Nimble is using its cameras and a laser to assess the size, shape, and curve of each of your nails with 3D image processing. This process allows Nimble to paint your nails with accuracy.

What is base coat?

The base coat is the first coat of polish painted onto your nails. Our base coat is infused with vegan collagen, vegan keratin, and jojoba oil to prime your nail and provide a protective layer between the nail and nail color. Nimble paints one layer

What is color coat?

Nimble paints two layers of your selected color for maximum saturation and color richness. Nimble has 33 shades of color to choose from. The color coats are applied after the base coat and before the top coat.

What is top coat?

Nimble applies one layer of top coat and is the last coat of polish applied. The top coat acts as a sealer for the manicure, allowing for a long-lasting manicure. Nimble has two types of top coats:

Why do I need to enable notifications?

Notifications must be enabled to inform you of next steps and issues during your manicure. This way you can leave the Nimble App while your manicure is in progress, but still be informed when you need to take action.

In the app, can I select what coats I want?

Currently, Nimble offers 2 manicure types after your Practice Mani:  Signature and Express.  Signature is the full 4-coat mani in ~50min; Express is just 2 coats of color in 20min for all 10 fingers.  You can select which manicure you'd like in the a

In the app, can I select which fingers I want painted?

In the Nimble app, at the current time you cannot choose which fingers you want painted.  You can, however, just insert the fingers you want painted and the Nimble device will recognize, scan, and paint them.

How do I reset my password?

If you need to reset your password, please visit the Nimble Beauty website here and click on "Forgot your password?" Follow the instructions to reset your password. Once your password has been reset, you can log into the Nimble app.

What's the difference between a Signature mani and an Express mani?

A Signature mani is 4 coats of polish - 1 base, 2 color, 1 top.  It takes 50-55min for all 10 fingers and comes out 75% dry (dry to the touch, but vulnerable to pressure).  Our Signature manis tend to last longer due to the top coat.An Express mani i
