There was an issue with painting one of your fingers. Your manicure will continue, but that finger will be skipped. When this hand is complete, you can re-insert your hand again, and the Nimble will skip the painted nails and only paint the unpainted nail. 

We taught the Nimble to always skip a finger if it detects any polish on it.
